The GEMS-TENS is a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS).  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved these state-of-the-art devices for use by patients in the United States.  They are manufactured of the highest quality materials and components.  Each GEMS-TENS meets the rigid standards imposed by the FDA.

The GEMS-TENS is a four-mode unit that has dual isolated channels, fully adjustable Frequency and Pulse Width controls, and is switchable between Burst Mode, two Modulated Modes, and a Constant Mode.

The Burst Mode is 2 bursts per second, 7 pulses per burst.

In the first Modulated Mode (M) the pulse width automatically decreases from the preset setting by 60% then returns to the original preset in a 3 second cycle.

In the Second Modulated Mode (MM) the pulse rate and width automatically decrease by 50% from the preset in 0.5 seconds, then the pulse rate alone is decreased by 50% from the preset in the next 0.5 seconds, and the 1 second cycles repeat.

The Constant Mode features fully adjustable frequency and width. 

The GEMS-TENS unit has a timer, which allows a selection between 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or continuous stimulation
